I was blown away by this product! I bought a small New Zealand birch loom, unfinished. The first one I bought I treated with Home Depot Danish oil and was very, very disappointed with how dirty the finish was and how ugly the paint was. Luckily the loom was defective so it was replaced and I had to try a different finish. Someone recommended Daddy Van's and I ordered it. I was shocked. The tree has achieved this amazing brilliance. Serious. It looked like it was professionally finished and all I did was wipe down the material and then wipe off the excess. So after this success I decided to use it for the white oak support legs and bar counter joinery that I had installed a few years ago but never finished because I didn't know how to paint them to match my wooden cabinets . I decided to erase some Daddy Vans in an inconspicuous spot and was very happy to see that the perfect color existed. Within 10-15 minutes I fully processed the entire surface and got such a rich color that does not rub off. the grains have come out and the whole thing has that soft, handcrafted look that's unlike anything polyurethane can give. And I don't think I used an eighth of the container between the two projects. i am sold
