I was never able to touch up the color in my house until I bought this device. After scanning a wall in my house that needed a touch up, the app recommended a paint (Nix Paint). I went to Home Depot and bought an 8 ounce sample bottle and touched up the areas that needed work and after the paint dried it matched perfectly.

I really wanted this product to work. I have dozens of color samples to scan CIELab codes. Follow the instructions that came with the device. Turned it on to wake me up. But that didn't happen. I called tech support. They said turn it on for 4 hours. Still no sign of life. Very frustrating and frustrating for the user as there are no LED indicators on the device to show the status. Scans paint well on walls and then gives you a choice of colors from major paint manufacturers. One of the "great" matches was a long way off though, and I rescanned the paint on the wall several times to make sure it was reading the paint on the wall consistently. I'm a field worker for a major paint company and that's the best we've got in this field. It saved me hours of time in the three weeks I had. This stuff is only good for tight games. I checked 3 walls and the ceiling and none matched. This only gives you a close match, which defeats the purpose as you can save your money and just do a sample clean or take a picture and show it to a local paint shop that will do the same or better for a lot less money than that overpriced junk.
