Have used this device a few times since purchasing it but have never been entirely sure of its accuracy. After installing new kitchen cabinets I decided to use it again and compare the scan to colors from well known brands. My scan was compared to the Benjamin Moore 975 scanner. I took a closet door to Benjamin Moore and they scanned it with their $3,000 scanner. To my surprise, her scanner also matched the color of my closet door to her Benjamin Moore number 975. I'm very confident of using this device in the future and my only concern is how accurately my phone's screen shows the scanned color versus the brand. In this case, my phone's screen didn't accurately show the color difference, but the NIX machine scanned the correct brand color number, as did the scanner in the store. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it's sometimes difficult to connect to a device via Bluetooth.
