I did not purchase this product for myself but as a gift for students I supervise who go to the School of Architecture. I have used Moleskine sketchbooks for many years and have not been disappointed. Pros: I love the orientation of these sketchbooks, it's quirky, unexpected, and the reduced binding margin makes it easier to fill the page with a sketch than a similarly sized portrait book. Paper and envelope of such quality what I expect from Moleskine. Cons: This isn't really a scam, I just want to point out that this is a paperback book. The lack of rigidity is nice if you're comfortable carrying it in your pocket, but it doesn't feel as durable as a hardcover. They also have fewer pages than more expensive notebooks, but that's to be expected, and both "cons" are reflected in the fact that the price is much lower than the hardcover versions.
