📒 Moleskine Art Sketch Album, Pocket Size, Soft Cover, Plain/Blank, Black, 72 Pages Review

Judging by the reviews I saw on the internet nothing came of it. I bought this with the intention of doing some ink drawings and maybe using a marker but the water based markers ate at the paper and made horrible blending that looked like rubbing bacon grease on a window to clean it. I've tried water based inks and the same thing happens. Then I tried alcohol based markers and they worked pretty much the same - crap. So yes they are great for pencils and that says it all.

I did not purchase this product for myself but as a gift for students I supervise who go to the School of Architecture. I have used Moleskine sketchbooks for many years and have not been disappointed. Pros: I love the orientation of these sketchbooks, it's quirky, unexpected, and the reduced binding margin makes it easier to fill the page with a sketch than a similarly sized portrait book. This is by far one of the worst sketchbooks I have ever used. Opening this sketchbook was a big disappointment, firstly it is very thin and soft cover, the sketchbook is too small. But when using a sketchbook it got even worse, the quality of the paper was utter rubbish. All my markers go through paper, the paper is so flimsy it will fall apart if you use a marker on it.
