There is a dimensional rift in my house; let the forks and socks escape. When I realized that there weren't many forks in my house, I bought a new set of salad and dinner forks. It was two weeks before I noticed the fork count going back down. Two weeks before the little assholes jumped down every rabbit hole they could find. I begged and begged and searched the house. It doesn't matter, they go fast. I have now invested in these Winco forks. They don't match the rest of my set. However, they are durable and functional. They are forks. These are inexpensive base forks and I don't expect them to be pretty or perfect. These forks are never rated silver. However, when I reach for a fork to eat, they sit in a drawer and are infinitely valuable. Eventually I expect them to find the crack and leave. If this happens, I'll take another set. It hurts a lot less when those forks are gone.
