Review on Sandflex Sanding Block 3 Pack by Mark Hart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They are so good for power tools and hand tools

I love these blocks. They're like an eraser with sand in it. As stated in the description, they don't clog or dull. They also erase like an eraser, but not very quickly. I've never tried them on a tree. I use them to polish scratches on aluminum. I haven't used a coarser grit yet, but the fine block works great on brushed aluminum. You'll never get a high gloss finish, but it's perfect for a matte look. It's a slow process, but with patience and hundreds of strokes, you can restore something slightly damaged to new condition. Above is a before and after photo of a sill that has been pole polished. This took about ten minutes. The circles around the screws are the result of my hammer drill's vacuum nozzle rubbing concrete dust into the aluminum. They are still faintly visible in the afterimages, but I know they would disappear completely if I had a little more time. I probably used a nice one I got sanded for 2 hours at work and it hasn't worn much. The corners are slightly rounded and I cut one end at about ten degrees to fit in the corners. It's the one in the picture. I got it from a guy at work and I liked it so much I bought three new sets and gave him a nice new one to replace because I cut it out and used a few of them. They are amazing. Can't wait to try medium and coarse blocks.
