After a lot of research before buying, this turned out to be a WINNER.

Absolutely EXCELLENT product. Finishing, packaging, website and customer support are top notch. Glad everything is working as expected. Everything you need to install the mount is included in a very well organized box. Canto did not disappoint in any way. Because the PDX 650 installation went so well, I ordered the PDX 680 for another TV. One helpful tip I would like to add for installation is that it is helpful to have a reference point to determine EXACT VERTICAL as the TV installation height will vary due to the physical limitations of the destination location and/or the owner's personal preference POSITION of the stencil on the wall is often critical. . This can be done by piercing the template with an awl at the location of the top stud (1 of 3) that is welded to the TV mount. I was able to achieve this goal using the following process: 1. After installing the bracket pieces that attach to the TV, measure from the bottom edge of the TV to the top stud.2. Use a pencil and tape measure to mark this point on the wall (now you know where the bottom and top of the TV are from this reference point)3. Then place the template on the tabletop and place the compressed wall mount hinge over the template, obviously lining up the holes on the mount with the template. Then use the pen to mark a point on the template and align the U-shaped grip point of the rotating bracket.4. Remove the template, punch a hole at the mark.5. Assuming you have already determined where the wall studs will be, position the template horizontally where you want the bracket to end and use a push pin to temporarily secure the template in the desired vertical position (based on the measurements above from the pin hole to). bottom and top of TV)6. Continue to follow Kanto's instructions to complete the installation. This may sound complicated, but it makes sense and is fairly easy to do once you have the jig and template in your physical possession. I've also included a few photos of the template with pin hole markings. The project should not take longer than 1 hour. Much luck.

Pros
  • SAFETY FIRST. Engineered to UL safety standards, the PDX700's stainless steel construction and heavy-duty screws easily support loads of up to 150 pounds. You can safely install a TV with a diagonal of up to 100 inches.
