correct length. Unfortunately I ran into a case where I needed a shielded cable that branches somewhere. I needed white wire (where the shield was no longer an issue) and couldn't find white shielded wire of the right length. So I run a piece of shielded black wire to the connector and a piece of unshielded white wire to the end of the path. Of course, I wanted either a black or white connector if possible, but while searching, this is what I found: an unpainted metal connector (matte silver). I trust Cable Matters and have used many of their products in the past, so buying them was a no-brainer for me.
