Great for replacing torn upholstery - just add a hammer

When I bought my retractable camper there were about 8 torn upholstery on the ends of the bunk(s). Originally, part of assembling the camper consisted of wrapping the loops of anti-shock cord around the knobs on the underside of the bunk ends. The cords wore out over time and the previous owner tied knots on them and then pulled too hard. I figured this should be an easy fix. Once I had a firm surface in my workspace, I followed the directions (and replaced the bungee cord loops with new 4-inch ball bungee). Works very well! On some tears I had to make a few stitches in the tarpaulin to keep the anvil from coming out of the hole area. In general, this is probably the best thing to do to replace the torn grommets. So the camper is 100%, and I still have a lot of grommets left. I left the kit (and hammer) in a pop up window so I can do field repairs (or help another camper) if needed.
