Review on Portable Kitchen Blender And Smoothie Maker For Shakes - Tribest PB-250XL-A With Removable Cups, White by Ashley Lanier

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Excellent product with easy to manage cons

I've had the tribest personal blender for about 3 years now. It's worked great for every application I've used it for.you know, stuff suitable for a personal blender. It is relatively quiet, it blends.the cups are easy to clean, and they have these super handy lids for when you need to bring a shake on the go.There is one draw back though that has bugged me for years: The cups leak. When you first purchase it, the seal on the cup blender is solid. It was only after a couple of months that the seal broke.and it's not like I grind anything, or do anything of significant abuse. I don't even blend ice! Just light protein shakes really.I wanted to file a warranty claim, but it was too much effort for my schedule at the time. So now, 3 years later, I still continually have a leaky cup when I blend. The fact that I often blend with spirulina makes this particularly messy and an annoyance to clean. The blender base often has caked on spirulina on it from days when I have a particularly busy schedule. Really not cool. I clean it, of course, but reluctantly, and I hope the company takes this review seriously to address this small problem which would make my use of the blender, and others, just a tad more agreeable.

Pros
  • EASY TO OPERATE: Perfect consistency and total control over blending and grinding with one-touch pulse button, and continuous press and twist modes
Cons
  • Waste of counter space if you already have a blender
