I bought this ladder for my chicks when they were about 6 weeks old and they were dying to practice their flying and sleeping skills. At first they were shy about this new and strange object but now I can always find 2 or 3 of them hanging around the stairs. Light colors are starting to fade a bit due to dust and junk, but I'm fine with that. And maybe one day I'll try hosing him off to see if that helps bring him back to life. The clips that attach it to the cage on both sides are strong and can't accidentally fall off, so the chicks won't be surprised or hurt!
