Pros: - Superb 360 degree sound quality from jazz to hip hop (video shows the music range) - Easy setup - Stylish design and small footprint, so incredibly portable - Really floats (tested by me threw it in the bathtub!) - Drop proof (dropped from 3ft and no problem) - Battery lasted 12 hours at LOUD volume - iOS app is well designed and works great with the speaker - Firmware update - Works via app with other Boom -speakers Bad A: The charging dock is $40, but you can just use the included micro USB cable. Conclusion: I own many Bluetooth speakers including Boom 2, Megaboom, Bang & Olufsen P6 and BOSE Revolve. Out of all these BOOM 3, it really is the best Bluetooth speaker of its size. I literally take it everywhere, I can literally take it from my office to the beach. The sound quality is excellent and the low end is better than the others above in my opinion. It's stylish so I can actually keep it in my office and it's small enough to fit in my bag. The speaker is almost indestructible as I actually tested the buoyancy and it works without any issues. It's also drop proof as I've dropped it 3ft from my desk and no problem (it's also dust proof). In terms of battery life, I got 12 hours on a loud volume and about 2.5 hours on a full charge from zero. Finally, the iOS app is very well designed and makes it easy to set up the equalizer on the speaker. You can also connect to other Boom speakers and update the firmware. All in all, if you are looking for the best sounding speaker you can take anywhere, then this is the one for you!
