Decided to switch to silicone as texan heat is not very good for rubber. I bought these because I couldn't find the Rainx silicone wipes I recommended at Revain. Instead, I decided to go with them. I don't regret it. Installation was easy. They provide a wipe to prepare the windshield before installing the wipers. Since I bought it over a week ago, there has been no noise or smearing. It has rained almost every day since installation, giving me plenty of time to try them out. UPDATE: One star removed. After a few weeks of use, I found a problem with the wiper. When driving on the motorway, the windscreen wipers lift slightly, leaving undamaged areas on the windscreen.
