Review on Black Cast Iron Wok Support Ring for K&H Gas Cooktop by Russell Rabbach

Upon unboxing I was a little dismayed at the size but it's my fault for not reading the measurements given as they are correct. Another dimension not listed is exactly 22 cm (8.66 inches) for the distance between the tips of the tines. It's a bit small for my purposes, but it will work well and the price beats all the competition. I looked at many similar wok rings, all of which had base rings with a semi-circular cross-section, like a tube cut in half lengthwise. The base ring and pins are solid and thick, making this much more durable. The others could break if dropped. Not that. The casting is very clean with no mold parting lines or rough edges and the finish is great.
