Black Cast Iron Wok Support Ring for K&H Gas Cooktop Review

I like it! It's very durable, heavy weight, with built in grooves that fit my square range cap perfectly. My wok sits very well on it, no longer wobbles and, above all, the wok is not high above the flame so as not to disturb the heat. I would definitely buy it again.

Tried a few other rings but not satisfied, didn't fit or didn't fit at all. changed one and somehow it worked. then I find this here. fits perfectly, durable, holds the wok well. no wobbles, slides or wok or ring movements. The wok is a bit higher, so I had to relearn the hot spots in the wok and the optimal flame height.

Sturdy and fits well. Does not require cross hatching on burner grate when there are 4 vertical bars for it to sit on. I wish it was a little bigger for round bottom woks, but great for flat center woks. Consider a gas stove flame condenser for best results.

Definitely beats the $100+ Samsung wok ring. Unfortunately I didn't see the horrible design of the Samsung range grates and I needed one of those rings for all the curved pans we have and it works great. Fits snugly on the grate and holds it in place. The only thing it doesn't work for is small pots, but some you win and some you lose.

I use this iron wok ring for my two cast iron woks (9" Lodge and 12" Jim Beam). The ring holds the woks in the center of the burners on my old GE JGBS60DEFWW gas range. Although the ring raises the bottoms of the woks almost an inch above the grates, the burners can still heat the woks to boiling temperatures with ease. I like it.

Perfect for my Camp Chef Grill burner. Very durable cast iron construction. Keeps my 14" round bottom wok perfectly centered over the burner and also works with my 12" wok which has a somewhat flat bottom. The ring keeps everything in place. As a bonus, I also have a regular stainless steel wok ring that can be used to surround this ring, preventing this burner ring from moving while stirring the wok. Highly recommended for al fresco "woken" at Camp Chef Grill.

Upon unboxing I was a little dismayed at the size but it's my fault for not reading the measurements given as they are correct. Another dimension not listed is exactly 22 cm (8.66 inches) for the distance between the tips of the tines. It's a bit small for my purposes, but it will work well and the price beats all the competition.
