It's great that it doesn't tire like most mid-fi units (compared to high-end home audio equipment from a dedicated [non-Bose] store). The line input has an odd, very strong midrange correction that can't really be corrected with the bass/treble controls. I do take it every day though as it doesn't tire and a direct connection to an iPod doesn't have that problem, and for non-audiophiles the bass is actually very strong for dance music (because of the downward bias). driver below) . It was what I expected apart from linear EQ issues and I prefer it to my previous dual iPod Altec-Lansing m202 which was a bit more tiring. As with my previous Altec Lansing device, I never use the remote control.
