It's great that it's not as boring as mid-fi.

It's great that it doesn't tire out like many mid-fis (compared to a quality non-Bose specialty store home audio system). The line input has an odd, very strong midrange correction that can't really be corrected with the bass/treble controls. I do take it every day though as it doesn't tire and a direct connection to an iPod doesn't have that problem, and for non-audiophiles the bass is actually very strong for dance music (because of the downward bias). driver below) . It was what I expected…

Sounds like a good deal

I wasn't sure I should buy this product without trying it first but I took a chance after reading some conflicting reviews. For the money it was worth it. I had it for about 6 weeks and had no problems. I'm happy with the sound. It has a deep bass tone that needs to be adjusted depending on the music. I didn't turn it up loud because I live in an apartment. I am happy with my purchase :)

STAY AWAY! - Home Audio

Not worth $10. It was great at first, but sometimes it would turn off and on every 45 seconds or so - you'll need to reset power and reinstall the iPod. But after updating iTunes, they (I have two of them) don't work at all. One of them sounded after 9 months as if the woofer had broken. I've tried other iPods that I haven't downloaded in months and none of them work. It looks like they got infected from the first iPod, which is still playing in my car and stereo. The company has moved to…

Great that it's not as boring as Mid-Fi.

It's great that it doesn't tire like most mid-fi units (compared to high-end home audio equipment from a dedicated [non-Bose] store). AL M650 Speaker System - Silver Silver

Perfect fit right out of the box. It took me a few minutes to figure out that the "shake to stir" iph/ipo setting should be turned off. For the first few minutes I thought the bass was compromising the iph's less (than the ipo) shockproof internals. It wasn't like that. Excellent reggae/dub response at all frequencies used, limited only by cabinet size meaning it won't give you hi-fi depth on either side. For $50 an iPhone/iPod (4 or older) fits securely into a 30 pin jack and delivers cutting…
