I wasn't sure I should buy this product without trying it first but I took a chance after reading some conflicting reviews. For the money it was worth it. I had it for about 6 weeks and had no problems. I'm happy with the sound. It has a deep bass tone that needs to be adjusted depending on the music. I didn't turn it up loud because I live in an apartment. I am happy with my purchase :)

Not worth $10. It was great at first, but sometimes it would turn off and on every 45 seconds or so - you'll need to reset power and reinstall the iPod. But after updating iTunes, they (I have two of them) don't work at all. One of them sounded after 9 months as if the woofer had broken. Perfect fit right out of the box. It took me a few minutes to figure out that the "shake to stir" iph/ipo setting should be turned off. For the first few minutes I thought the bass was compromising the iph's less (than the ipo) shockproof internals. It wasn't like that. Excellent reggae/dub response at all frequencies used, limited only by cabinet size meaning it won't give you hi-fi depth on either side.
