Wiring only for this particular item but I bought half a dozen different hangers of this type from Hasco for a rental house where I didn't want to make holes - Hook, sponge holder, soap dish. They all look good despite being all chrome plastic and certainly seem to lift themselves at first. A day or two later, however, it all fell off. I picked them up again, they fell again. I missed it, they fell. I pulled, they fell. They came from the bathroom tiles, they came from the factory painted flat walls of the closet with no grit, as smooth as a painted surface can be. Almost $50 spent. The only one that hasn't fallen off is the glass door of my dishwasher. So if your house is made of glass, they should work just fine. The suction part of these holders is very stiff, I suspect it can't handle even microscopic texture. I had better luck with a large soft plastic suction cup from the hardware store and this is it. Not very pretty, but I don't have to keep picking them off the floor.
