The Syba PEX24041 board was just the ticket to get SMB Multichannel working on my new Ryzen PC. After installation, I: 1.) installed the latest drivers from Realtek2.) added "multichannel server support = yes" to smb.conf on my QNAP NAS*3.) restarted Samba on NAS4.) disabled onboard Ethernet * *5 . ) transferred multiple files at over 200MB/s.* This change will be overwritten on reboot but still needs to be sorted out.** When all three ports were connected, the transfer rate dropped to 175MB/s. Hardware: Ryzen 7 1700 on MSI B350 Mortar, 16 GB RAM, Sandisk Ultra II SSDQNAP TS-651 with 5 x 5 GB Red drives, two gigabit ports, SMB 3.0 support Zyxel GS1900-16 switch ****** bought because I thought I would have to configure LAG / LACP , but multichannel probably works on unmanaged hardware too.
