I bought 10 of these to use in my industrial battery class. They were supposed to be brought to work by technicians, but they worked so badly that I couldn't even send them along. The lamps are so soft that they do not expand and do not pull in the electrolyte. You have to massage the bulb to make it work and then when electrolyte gets in the readings are very inaccurate compared to other testers I have. It also takes a lot of electrolyte to fill it up to the right testing level. If you want this style, you should definitely buy the EZ-Red brand. I've had them before and they work great.
