This scooter can carry up to 220 lbs and is recommended for ages 8+. No problem with this scooter. It has 3 adjustable handlebar heights and a large step on the rear brake that works very well. What impressed me the most about this scooter was that it had a shock absorbing spring under the handlebars and a foot platform. You can really feel the suspension due to the spring when you step on the platform. This makes driving over bumps and rough roads smoother and more enjoyable. Finally, you can fold this scooter very quickly and easily in a few seconds, and it is very light, so you can carry it with one hand behind the wheel. It would be perfect for climbing stairs or even if you need to pack it in the trunk of your car. The scooter looks very stylish and not childish. The material feels heavy but not too heavy to wear. Oh it was packaged very well with little to no assembly required. All I had to do was install the stand using the tools, nuts and bolts provided. I'm very happy with the end-to-end experience. 5 out of 5 stars. Would highly recommend to anyone aged 8+ even if they are high school teenagers like my son.
