Great ramp! on Ramps & Rails

My boys ages 11, 8 and 6 love this ramp! We haven't shared it yet so we'll see how it goes. They use it on their bikes, haven't used it on their skateboards or scooters yet. I think they still annoy me! Small enough for people to walk past on the sidewalk so I don't have to move it every time I see someone coming! I wish it was a little more durable, I see it "flexing" when they ride it, but we'll see how long it lasts! So far, so good!

Not worth it, too tight! The width is only 12 inches for riding.

I know the spec says 16 inches wide which I thought was narrow but I figured it would be ok. Note that the **base** is 15.5 inches and the ramp portion is 12 inches. It's too tight. My son, who is quite brave, rode it twice and said he wouldn't use it again. Please note that he constantly drives our quarter pipe (see photo). Definitely avoid this ramp. Also, I only received 2 wing nuts for 4 bolts. On the plus side, it feels more durable than our old plastic ramp. This is probably partly…

Cartoony Small Ramp Set

This is a ridiculously small ramp system said to be for an 8 year old but my 11 year old son gave up on it immediately. Three ramps are stacked together in a box like dollar store paint tubs, with the hardware, grinder bar and part of the deck hidden underneath. The plastic is very thin, and while the ramps can hold the advertised weight, they're barely big enough to hold a full-size skateboard. They reminded me of the mini Stonehenge scene in Spinal Tap. I can't believe this is a $165 product.

Launch Pad in Skates, Skateboards, and Scooters

The launch pad was the same height as the outside dog door I installed - 8.5 inches tall. In other words, the lowest point of the inside dog door was still 8.5 inches from the patio floor on the outside. This item worked great and I didn't have to build the ramp from scratch as I don't know how to work with wood. I had to modify it by cutting off the back edge so it was flush with the building and then took it to the upholstery to put a floor carpet on top to keep the dog from slipping off the…
