Review on Progressive Prepworks Berry Storage Container by Mary Alvarado

This review relates to Onion Keeper. I've had it for 3 1/2 years now. He kept the onions fresh. I don't use onions very often, when I did I had a chopped onion in there for a week. There were long periods when it was empty and unused. I was very happy with it for a while, but this week I noticed that the silicone part of the lid now smells like onions. The onion saver sat in my vegetable drawer in the fridge with some other veggies including chopped peppers in a silicone resealable grocery bag. The silicone bag now also smells like onions. I've soaked the top of the onion with vinegar and baking soda, then with a paste of baking soda and water, but the onion smell is still there. So it worked fine for a couple of years and was durable, but I think it's past its useful life at this point.
