this adapter solves my problem! My problem: I had a "complicated" setup for an LED strip under the cabinet that plugged into a smart socket, which in turn was turned on and off by an IR motion sensor. My desired outcome is when I walk into the kitchen at night in the dark, the IR motion sensor detects my movement and activates the smart plug to power the LED strip. Except that there was a whopping 4 second delay between the moment the motion sensor detects movement (nearly instantaneous triggering of the relay in the smart plug) and the LEDs actually turning on (I counted my Mississippi). When it turned on I had already entered my kitchen, in the dark like I was looking at it and waiting for it to light up, see the problem?
