I have been wearing black Futuro stockings (medium to high pressure) for over 8 years to reduce swelling in my legs and ankles caused by atrial fibrillation. I tried XL at first, but after a few washes the arms stretched and became too long, irritating the skin behind the knees or, if I folded the stock, it would make a dent in the skin. I tried L (arge) but they were a bit tight. Hand washing has allowed me to squeeze 4-5 years out of each pair with daily and nightly use ($30 a pair at pharmacies everywhere). For me, there seemed to be no competition for these expensive, not quite fitting compression stockings. Until now (however loud TV commercials may blare). A friend had cute pressure stockings and shared that Dr. movement and that they helped him. I immediately went online and bought 4 packs. Unfortunately, the ones I want/need are not ordered for two months. With my futuros dying in the bud (so to speak), I was really ready for a change. Revain algorithms recommended these stockings by Pembrook. A pack of six costs less than a pair of retail Futuros. I became addicted. You look like dr. Motion and are sizes L-XL. I was thinking "perfect" just between the Futuro sizes, which as mentioned never fit perfectly on my legs (I'm 6'3" with 34" pants). I pulled the trigger and received the package in a few days (thanks Prime). I wear a pair for 3 days/nights. They are very comfortable and keep my feet in an acceptable shape. ) that produce perfect ankles every morning. But reasonable. My size was rewarded: the PERFECT length for me. Between the sizes L and XL from Futuro. (the aesthetics are very similar) as well as the sizing in length, I'll be in stocking heaven. In the meantime I am very satisfied with these medium pressure stockings from Pembrook. If your needs aren't as extreme as mine, they might be top-notch for you, and great value for money too.
