Install parts individually and it works great!

Install the piece that fits inside on the car first. Then snap the cover on. Once I figured that out it was so easy. It’s kind of delicate so be careful. The clear part (I think it’s for the light) doesn’t stay in well until you snap the cover on. Hope this holds up! I just saved $100s of dollars!

Cons

The cover may not be compatible with all Mercedes models, limiting its usefulness for some car owners
