The replacement switch work just fine.

Man the same thing happen to me like the other people who replaced the switch on the sunroof. The dealer wanted 500. 00 to replace the hole thing and I just needed the switch to be replaced . I have a 2008 c300 Benz . It took a while to get it done but after I lined things up it went right into place. I got the part from Best Buy for 470.00 cheaper !

  • This fit perfect for the sunroof for my car. Very grateful didn’t have to order from Mercedes.
Cons
  • It did fit well. The quality isn't the best but so far is working fine. It was easy to install.

Not difficult to install.once you figure out how pieces are aligned.

The product is great .and 'snaps' into place once you figure it out. There is no way to see how things fit. I spent an hour, more or less, trying to fit the pieces together and getting them aligned with the switch. Now that I know how everything fits .I could easily replace, in under a couple minutes!

  • Works and looks perfect. Saved me a ton of money.

  • The cover may reduce the tactile feedback of the switch buttons, making it less comfortable to use

Easy to install, saved me $500+

This little clip on button is great. You just have to slide in the little inside piece first, then snap on the outside piece. The dealer would easily charge 20 times the price of this to install, I got it done in less than 4 minutes.

Pros
  • It fits perfectly. I didn't have to use the clear plastic clip. Looks just like the original.
Cons
  • The cover may interfere with the proper functioning of the switch buttons, causing them to malfunction

Did it myself carefully

The black internal part fit in first. Next the clear lens. Finally the button itself that needed to connect and click itself it. Needed a bright light to see each piece fit in it’s place. Works good as new.

  • Worked perfectly. Very easy to install. Mercedes quoted me 900 to replace. This was perfect.

  • The cover's installation may require some technical knowledge, making it difficult for inexperienced individuals

Install parts individually and it works great!

Install the piece that fits inside on the car first. Then snap the cover on. Once I figured that out it was so easy. It’s kind of delicate so be careful. The clear part (I think it’s for the light) doesn’t stay in well until you snap the cover on. Hope this holds up! I just saved $100s of dollars!

Works as advertised

Once I figured how to install the switch, it was very easy. Install the black piece first and then the color matched piece on top. Looks almost like original equipment.

  • It was a perfect fit on my C250 Sport. Very easy to install. Snapped right in. Works great!

Perfect purchase in my review

My button broke and the dealership said they wanted $800 for the whole sunroof motor. Didn’t need that. Fixed it for $35 Thanks for attention.

Nice button. Hard to install!

Great overall product. I was pleased to find this part rather than having to purchase the entire assembly from the dealership. Hard to mount though. You will need to be patent. I had to have a mechanic friend dismount the top fittings to install. Now it works great. Just a long process!
