Hidden within sight of my gun

Hidden within sight of my gun. Great design but installation is a headache for the novice handyman and homeowner. The templates are useless as I could have just used the hole drilling equipment but still used the cardboard templates. I struggled to align both the locking mechanism and the latch so that it would close without wearing down the metal parts between the spring-loaded pins. Used old wood from some of the cabinets I kept, which eventually came in handy as my cabinet isn't flush with the opening door. I'm sure I'll get better with practice, but I got closer to my size simply by putting double-sided tape on the latch mechanism while it was locked and then closing the door. And then I opened it with the RFID key fob master card and installed the locker. It still wasn't perfect, so I suggest since gravity is working against you, move the lock case slightly an eighth or a quarter of an inch in the opposite direction; in my case upwards as I have a vertically opening door. IMPORTANT: With the basic fitting, the door does not open by itself. Mind you, I even wanted to include a cheap gas strut or spring-loaded latch that opens when I swipe the RF ID card. The lock is spring loaded so no force on the door or latch mechanism will allow the door to open unless you push on it to release the latch mechanism's internal springs. key fob and 3 RFID cards. I even ordered a 13.56mhz metal ring just for fun to make opening the cabinet easier as there is a lock box to program several other RFID cards into. You will not be disappointed. watch the video I am very comfortable.
