The nail puller works very well. The nail slot/cartridge is a bit finicky at times. It has plastic and metal parts and only seems to like high quality/expensive nails. Cheaper nails from port freight or other discounters often get stuck in the gun. It's very noisy for such a small nailer and the plastic cover on the front fell off on the second day of use. I think there is another device that has better quality aluminum nail cartridge. I'm not really disappointed with the performance of the device, I just wish the nail cartridge didn't clog up so often and then it wasn't so damn loud. EDIT: After a season of occasional/monthly use, my original rating still stands. I regret every time I use this nailer without hearing protection. My ears are ringing. In addition, the depth of the driven nail is slightly eccentric. When I use this to install a crown molding and try to leave minimal holes for nails or patch/sealant it hammers the nail easily requiring me to get out a set of nails and a hammer or paint putty. This is the case when three different compressors/regulators are used.
