Very durable strong product. I have used it with my DJ controller and two different types of laptops, the DJ controller is a Pioneer Ddj 400. First I had a Lenovo ThinkPad with an 11.6 inch screen. It was a bulky laptop, very thick and didn't have much of an edge to grab onto the stand, it still held up well and I rarely had trouble adjusting the stand position. I currently have Gateway, a thin laptop that sits very solidly on this stand and works great with no DJ controller to attach to my desk/desk. Works great on a bedside laptop stand to adjust to the perfect ergonomic position. Again, it's made from durable, lightweight aluminum and is truly built with precision hardware. I didn't feel the need to check the type of screw I would need to tighten if it becomes loose.
