Activated alumina will not work.
Activated aluminum oxide filter does not work. I did 3 whole water tests before and after with these filters and with a reverse osmosis system under the meter. As other companies state, this amount of activated alumina does not work in this type of canister. For this to work you need a much larger canister that it needs to flow through slowly. My first unfiltered water test contained 0.93 mg/l fluoride. Post test through these 3 canisters showed 0.90 mg/l.
