Doesn't do anything on heating, cooling and air quality

I've had it less than two months and it just made a little noise and caught fire. I have several air purifiers and they have to change filters monthly (it's the dustiest place I've ever lived!), but this thing showed no sign of dust on the collector blades, and when I plug it in now, it buzzes loudly. Sound but no air movement or anything. Not worth the money.
