I've had the Shark Rotator for a few weeks now and am very happy with my purchase. We have three dogs, hardwood floors, rugs and rugs in our bedrooms. The rotator actually revitalized some of the floor mats that I thought needed replacing. I have to say the rotator did an amazing job of lifting and removing pet hair and debris from all of these surfaces. This is a huge improvement over the old vacuum cleaner it replaces. My most pleasant surprise is the lift function and the cleaning rod. This is a real time saver on cleaning. I can just pull the pole out and work between and under furniture, corners, cabinet tops, trim around triangular ceilings and air ducts. I wasn't looking for this feature but I have to say it has saved me a lot of time on my weekly cleaning - I love that I can get to places where I used to have to use a stepladder to clean. The cord is long enough to clean our large room and the adjoining room, which is another step forward. There are a few things I don't like, this vacuum cleaner spins really well and is easy to use. Sometimes it seems a little wobbly, but maybe that's because I'm not used to it. Another problem is the plastic fasteners and clips for attaching the hose, tool and dust bag. It all works well now and feels tight. Just wondering if they will break or come loose prematurely. Guess I won't know until it happens. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and think it's a great vacuum for the price.
