Lasted 3.5 years before it caught fire (I was there, I am this one saw), so I opened it up, and as you can see from the photos, it literally burned out. The original ballast lasted 38 years. The Chinese Keystone ballast lasted 3.5 years. Unfortunately there are very few F20T12 ballasts so I bought another one. If people REALLY took the "environment” seriously, they wouldn't allow such poor quality products to be manufactured and sold. The original ballast lasted almost 13 times longer. From an ecological point of view, this throwaway waste is a much bigger societal problem than the stupid politics that many of these people focus on.
