I was hopeful that this would be a useful item, although skeptical. I'm finding that it works very well. My young granddaughter develops huge, hard, hot, red spots when bit by a mosquito. This makes the bite area easy to find, although sometimes it's a while after she's been bitten before it is noticed. I just tried it on a bite mark that was already raised, hard, and almost 3/4 inches across. I applied this gadget about 5 times. I checked on it about 1 hour later and it was no longer raised, only a bit hard, and half the size. I've used it on a wasp bite on my arm with similar results. Within hours all signs of the bite were gone. It's pretty cool!
