Poor build quality, metal splinters in the tube. Beware!

At first glance the product looked fantastic. When I examined the pipe more closely, I noticed that dirt was stuck in it. I took a toothbrush and poked around in it, managed to remove it and noticed that it was a rather large sliver of metal. Imagine that you put it on without realizing it, and this fragment flies straight into the turbine. The second issue I had was the heat shields, which didn't seem to be standard. One of the heat shields was difficult to install, but after a while I was able to put the screws in. Then came the difficult part of the installation. The hoses were very narrow. This was the hardest part of the install (which is ridiculous). Talk about the wrong inner diameter. It took me wd40, 20 minutes of wrestling and all my strength to barely slip through. Also, real filters were difficult to put on because of heat shields getting in the way. I was finally able to wear them. The heat shield had to be bent and moved to the side to create clearance. We put the spacers back in place, the left side resting on the filter. no worse, but after the whole question I just wasn't surprised. I used HPS in my other build and the hoses I bought from them were amazing but I was wrong in assuming their build quality would be maintained at the intakes. Too bad nice tricks. but save yourself the trouble and buy yourself a technician. Never buy HPS again unless it's tubing. And if you think this is a setup error, I have a lot of experience with cars and trucks. I just installed a lift on my truck that docks easier than this junk. Spark plugs were also easier to make on the Stinger than on this setup. That says it all. Oh and they had a missing pad lol. My god I have nothing to say about this product other than the color looks great on the tube.
