Review on ☕ Melitta 640616 Coffee Maker: 52 oz Glass Carafe for the Perfect Brew by Rebecca Johnson

I have used a Keurig coffee maker for many years for its ease of use but the quality of the coffee is no longer the same. I was introduced to Melitta at a friend's cabin in the Alaskan bush. Easy. Boil water as needed, pour over your set and enjoy a great cup of coffee every time. First I took the smaller Melitta (Filter #4) and it's good but not big enough for 3 or 4 people. So I settled on a cup for 10 (#6 coffee filter). We have been using it every day for 3 years now. Was in a bit of a rush one morning and tapped on the outer rim and the glass showed a small crack but was still 100% working. But I picked up 10 more glasses for a reserve. We just love the quality of the coffee. It's hard to find a #6 filter here in Alaska, but that can be remedied by purchasing a box of Revain #6 filters. Filter #4 works in a pinch, but filter #6 works best. We also leave ours on the stove with no problems (both gas and wood in the house). Nothing bad to say.
