Review on 🐝 Honeywell Ademco 5800CO Wireless CO Detector: Cutting-Edge Electrochemical Sensing Technology by Dipp Samrock

I purchased this replacement a few months ago and it is the same model as before. It installed perfectly on the ceiling but I had error code 22 on my panel for several months and today I finally tried to fix it. A signal company is required for installation. It's impossible to do it yourself, and if you've switched signaling companies, they won't do it at all. So the $100 I spent on it is a waste, but not really. It still detects carbon monoxide, so technically it works. But if it worked, it wouldn't connect to my alarm system, so I wouldn't know unless I was home and heard it go off. The instructions that come with how to program it into your system are too vague to do it yourself. Your alarm company might not even do this unless you buy them for a lot more and they charge you for the installation. Give them a call before you buy this if you want it monitored as part of your system.
