Review on CURT 31322 Front Receiver Hitch for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500: 2-Inch Efficiency at its Best! by Don Olsen

I ordered this towbar to fit my 2011 GMC Denali 4WD. I started the installation in such a way that after installing the two side brackets I found that the middle section was 1 inch too short to reach the brackets. I removed both and moved the side mounts to match the mid world, finding the center support mount. that the bolts on the cross member were 3 1/4 inches longer. I removed the hitch, cut off 3 1/4 inches, redrilled the hole, heated the heavy steel brace to bend it to the new angle to install, and reinstalled. The bolt and mounting bracket go through the crossbar to secure the center. The support did not go through the hole in the center support cap, trim to fit. It's all installed and looks good, but my goodness it only took 4 1/2 hours. Someone needs to see what they're selling. wayne
