The additional gel pad is very sticky and leaves marks on the dashboard after an hour. I love it if you never plan on deleting it. I have an old magnetic mount that I've been using for a few years that I really like and I've taken it off a few times without leaving anything and it's still very sticky. I removed the extra gel pad and the device itself seems pretty sticky. It's easy enough to slide the phone in and out of the cradle and seems to hold it well. My biggest problem is that the holder moves up and down and in all directions. With no way to lock it, the phone vibrates horribly all the time while I'm driving and even makes me dizzy looking at it. I just take it off and put it on my lap or tilt it all the way down (too low to use) to eliminate some of the vibration. Again, I've used these types of mounts in the same car for years and this has never happened. If its top and bottom position could be fixed I think that would be great.
