🚗 Koomus Pro Dash Universal Smartphone Car Mount Holder for iPhone and Android Devices – Black, Dashboard Windshield-Compatible Review

I've had one of these for quite a while and it eventually failed due to my improper installation. I have searched a lot for a replacement but found this to be the perfect fit as it mounts well, holds my phone securely, is easy to install and remove from the mount and is small and unobtrusive. I've bought two now and when the time comes as it's quite cheap I'll be happy to buy another one.

I'm not sure if my phone is too heavy. A window that sticks to the dashboard will not stick. I cleaned the dashboard with alcohol before applying. The attached phone holder remains attached to the bottom pane. Even if the phone is lying horizontally, the lower disk will slowly detach while driving and the phone will fall off the dashboard. When the phone is held upright, it only takes about 2-3 minutes before it falls off the dashboard.

I bought this to replace an identical unit that worked great for a few years but unfortunately one of the levers holding the phone broke. The sticky pad on the old block was difficult to remove from the dashboard even after all this time. The new one doesn't stick. in all. Had I known this I would have left the old sticky bit there and just used the new suction/phone holder top but it's too late now. I don't know what changed, but this new version is completely unusable. It will be returned.

I like Koomus phone holder for my car. I don't think I will ever buy any other brand. This is the one I have now. I used to have a magnetic and before that an older version of it. I'm not a fan of magnets at all. You need to attach the metal plate to your phone or case. I like the old version of this game the most. I had it for 4 years before it broke. I got this one because it was cheaper, but next time I need it I'll use another one. All my friends and family use it and love it.

I love the design of this item. This is great for those who want a small phone mount on the dash. It's a bit bigger than my cell phone, so it doesn't bother me with the rating. The only complaint I have, and I'll admit it, is that Koomus did a really good job of replacing the device (for free), but it doesn't fit very well. My first Koomus lasted quite a while but literally fell apart when we tried to spin it. Since then, none of them have lasted more than a few months before just falling off…

The additional gel pad is very sticky and leaves marks on the dashboard after an hour. I love it if you never plan on deleting it. I have an old magnetic mount that I've been using for a few years that I really like and I've taken it off a few times without leaving anything and it's still very sticky. I removed the extra gel pad and the device itself seems pretty sticky. It's easy enough to slide the phone in and out of the cradle and seems to hold it well. My biggest problem is that the holder

Killer product! After watching several videos of these products and having several phone holders with cup holders, air vents, and CD holders, I settled on this dashboard mount. Installation was easy: remove cover from bottom adhesive pad, place on dash, push in and turn on rear vacuum switch. (There is another pad in the pack if you have an unusually shaped surface.)
