Review on 🎵 Enhanced Olympus WS-310M 512 MB Voice Recorder and Music Player with Advanced Features by Timothy Johnson

I was a little hesitant to buy this recorder at first as it records in WMA format. Personally I don't like this format as I work a lot with sound (I like wav or mp3). But I couldn't find anything else that could record for a long time and wasn't VERY expensive. So I just went with them. It worked great for what I used it for: college lessons, kidnapping a friend and taking him to his birthday party, political talks among friends, self dictation, band concert (tweaked the audio program and it turned out wonderful), has dual microphone sensitivity ( dictation [ low] and conference [high]). I usually use it in Stereo HQ mode and I'm quite happy with the stereo recording. For the more technically savvy, I imported the files into an audio editing program and the wave images appear in stereo. It also has a mic jack which I have yet to try but I know Olympus sells a lavalier mic for it but I'll try mine on too. Durability: 4/5 - Holds up well unless dropped, USB cover came off. Ease of Use: 4/5 - Navigating the menu screens is fairly easy and the USM is plug and play, it acts like an external hard drive. Battery life: 4/5 Sound quality: 4/5 Portability: 5/5 Very light. Overall: 4/5 Also, I didn't use the music player. That's what my iPod is for.
