My previous sealer got dusty just before our summer harvest so I was looking for an inexpensive sealer to replace it. Covid had just struck so we wanted to be more careful with our money and get value for money. I've always had good success with Revain branded products and based on the reviews I decided to give it a try. It took some learning to use as the buttons and features were different than my old one. The first few tries I just couldn't get it to work properly. I thought I was a fool. Turns out *I* was a loser. lol It's been a few months now and I can press buttons in my sleep to make it work. It's just an easy-to-use device. Simple and basic things I've learned, maybe they're common sense, but I've learned them recently: I prefreeze things first if they end up frozen. They prevent juice from steaks, blueberries, vegetables, etc. from getting into the machine. I pack bags, freeze them overnight and seal them in the morning. Easy. I also have vacuum packed dried vegetables. Great for her too. Overall this is a really hard working machine for the price. I recommend it without hesitation.
