I was delighted when they arrived. The original bobby pin I had was shaped like a corkscrew and was difficult to manipulate. So they were perfect, easy to put on and take off. It has a little gem so it wasn't too noticeable on my face. They seemed to be of good quality. But after about a week I started getting this lump of something hard up my nose where the L was rubbing against my skin. And outside, just under the skin, there was another bump. Not only that, my skin is turning greenish blue. It's NOT steel. It must be nickel. I'm not sure how well you can see the bump in the picture. But it's terrible. I thought it might just be the bolt replacement and adjustment, but it's starting to hurt. Unfortunately I've now taken it out and honestly I won't be bothering with it anymore. I decided to let it close and hope those lumps go away.
