Great product at a reasonable price. Complies with NSF and HACCP. Super easy to use. 15 seconds auto power off when device remains inactive. I tested it today in my restaurant, I'm impressed. We used the infrared scanning feature to take some general temperature readings in both hot and cold areas of restaurants and were able to quickly identify foods with potentially dangerous storage temperatures. The thermal probe helped me to more accurately confirm or disprove my suspicions since the probe and scan readings differ by about 4 degrees Fahrenheit. Very happy with this purchase. If this seems complicated, read the instructions again. The only problems I see with this device are due to operator error.
