I had trouble with my chain bouncing off the first or third link easily. Pulled a few links off the chain and it didn't help. So I started looking for a solution. The chain tensioners seemed to be the puzzle piece I needed. But I've seen a number of fancy "high-tech" options ranging from $25 to $40 and even much more. The lowest I've seen with them was $22. And many are only designed for single ring transmissions. I had 3. Then I saw the IQ Labs model and its great price. Everything looked perfect on paper, but I was a bit skeptical because of the material and that it was attached with zip ties. But I installed it in no time, and a quick scan of the gear and I was sold. It does exactly what it says on the tin and was the cheapest option. I recommend it 100%. An amateur can meet your needs once you are a more serious driver. But for weekend warriors and daily races, it's perfect. My only suggestion is to develop a model that doesn't use ties as the main connection. But otherwise, more colors would be great.
