Great idea and design

Yes it looks like 3D printed. If that bothers you, then this product is not for you. It's very well done. Much rubberier than I expected but still hard. It comes with zippers. I ended up using thicker zip ties (I added some paint anyway).

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Easy to install and use

Very easy to install and use. Looks good and all? Probably not because of the flash, but honestly who cares about the price, it's perfect, and besides, with proper use of the bike it should still be dirty and nobody will notice :)

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Frequency

Great little thing

Someone obviously 3D printed this. But it works really really well! It is lightweight and made from a rubber compound. My bike is noticeably quieter and the little thing caught on my chain and prevented a bit of a fall that would have happened without it. Great product!

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Safety

Can't believe it's the best in parts and components

can't believe I'm wearing this on my chain and there doesn't seem to be any friction. The chain does not brake and does not interfere. I bought a second one for my gravel bike and will buy another if I buy a bike in the future. It is smooth and stops all noise from the drive system. Good product.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons

Simple and clean, best gear components

Installation time approx. 5 minutes. It's a bit noisy but I only notice it when I'm waiting my bike at the stand. On the road or on the trail, I can't even tell. Does exactly what it's supposed to and so far it's pretty safe. Maybe take extra zip ties with you when you go out. Any hard hit and it will most likely fall down.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Basically good, but...

Good idea; but not recommended for 2x or 3x installation

Cable ties broke on 4th use in 2x hardtail installation. Two problems: 1. Excessive lateral force on the chain angle compensation guide weakens the system.2. A lower chainstay height creates excessive tension that increases friction loss and increases pedaling effort. This vertical tension also weakens leadership over time.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Problem

Surprise! It works like a charm and is the easiest to put on

It works. I have used on 2X and 1X. Quieter, better shifting, stopped chain slapping, but best of all it really stopped the chain from falling off. I didn't notice any drag or resistance. Super easy to put on. Literally takes a minute. You don't have to break the chain. You can easily put it on or take it off at the track. Very useful for those of us with low end derailleurs that don't have a clutch.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Update available

Incredible - Parts & Components

Basically it creates an external support for the chain. 10/10 recommend. My Marlin 7 came with a crappy clutchless derailleur and the noise was unbearable and I finally started looking for a fix and it made it perfect. It doesn't really add much resistance, but of course it will wear out over time and need to be replaced. But now it's going to be awesome! (Looks ugly, but if you want a pretty one, just buy an expensive chain guide)

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

I was skeptical at first...

I had trouble with my chain bouncing off the first or third link easily. Pulled a few links off the chain and it didn't help. So I started looking for a solution. The chain tensioners seemed to be the puzzle piece I needed. But I've seen a number of fancy "high-tech" options ranging from $25 to $40 and even much more. The lowest I've seen with them was $22. And many are only designed for single ring transmissions. I had 3. Then I saw the IQ Labs model and its great price. Everything looked…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
