When I bought my last boxes of Yorkshire tea I saw a few negative reviews about the quality - one even suggested it was fake! The problem was that they knew nothing about English tea. They used to buy bags with labels intended for brewing tea in a cup, not for brewing in a kettle, which of course should be done that way. These packets are 3g each - place two in a medium saucepan, add freshly boiled water and wait a few minutes. That makes about 3 large cups of tea, after pouring two, add some more boiling water and wait for the obligatory refill. Drawstring and label bags only make 1 cup - and therefore weigh 2g each. not 3 years old Don't worry about tea dust, the tea bags contain finely ground tea to help it brew faster. Well, if you really want to make 'real' tea, go to your local tea shop - buy a few single varieties (maybe Ceylon or Assam) and a few blends - like English breakfast tea - and brew it in a teapot. These will be BIG leaves that will take longer to brew so be patient. Use more than you think you need and experiment. It's really worth it.
