As my title suggests NO ADHESIVE. My last was on an adhesive disc that was placed on the inside of the windshield and then a mount was attached to it. However, the adhesive would heat up over time and cause the bracket and radio to fall onto the dashboard. Once this is done, this continues until the central part collapses in on itself. This new one really is a big sucker and shows no signs of falling off the inside of the windshield for several hot days.
